RapidStryfe

With the Rapidstrike shipping from walmart.com, it was only a matter of time before this happened.
We give you.... The RapidStryfe! Because everyone needs 70 darts on tap.
RapidStryfe, not shown with 2X35 round drums... yet.
Special thanks to B.F.U. for sending us this picture of his creation! Hopefully it will see some action this weekend and he'll have a more detailed report after further battle testing (along with more pictures!). Some of you may remember B.F.U. from the Stryfe Cam Mount video, keep your eyes peeled here as we'll be featuring some more of his creations and frankenblasters in the near future.

New Jolt and Stryfe in the Bay Area

Jolt photo taken at Best Buy in Santa Clara
Both the "Elite" Jolt and the Stryfe have been spotted in the Bay Area. The Jolt was seen at Best Buy in Sunnyvale. A Toy's "R" Us in San Jose has been reported to have the Stryfe.  The Jolt at Best Buy is retailing for $4.99, while the Stryfe at Toys "R" Us is going for $24.99, more expensive than either Amazon or Walmart.

While the Jolt has a new paint job, and the nose has been changed a little, it does not actually mention the Elite line anywhere on it or the packaging. Looks like Nerf may still be reserving that for blasters that hit certain ranges.

Special thanks to Amy, who dropped the news and snapped us a picture of the Jolt at Best Buy.

Stryfe on Amazon

Stryfe (American Box)
The Stryfe has mad it's way onto Amazon for 19.99. It's actually been there for a couple of days, but we wanted to make sure it was legitimate (as the listing has no picture). Today, it came in! There are already quite a lot of reviews already up and internals listed for this guy. So all that's left is to get your hands on one! If you haven't been lucky enough to find one at a Toys R Us near you, here's the link to the Stryfe on Amazon.com:

Special thanks to Paul for tipping us off to this earlier in the week.

Edit: It's also popped up on Walmart's website for the same price with the option for in store pickup as soon as 12/7. Is this an official release date? We'll have to wait and see.

Stryfe in California

Nerf blogger Cartaya over at Cartaya's Revenge has not only posted up some detailed tests and pictures of the new Stryfe, but apparently acquired his in California. In the comments section of the article featuring the unboxing of the blaster, Cartaya revealed that he purchased the blasters "Toys R Us. stevenson ranch, California" It's definitely a little ways away from the San Francisco Bay Area, but it means that hopefully they can't be far off from showing up in stores here. We checked out some local Toys R Us' in the area and haven't spotted anything yet. Be sure to let us know if you find anything! We'll keep you posted on any further developments.

Elite Firefly clip, darts, Raven, and Stryfe!?

TaoBao.com has posted up some pictures of new Elite glow-in-the-dark darts. What's more interesting is the back of the packaging, which shows more previews of the elite line. Aside from a repainted Rayven and Firefly Tech Clip, the Stryfe looks to be a completely new blaster, and without any noticeable priming mechanism. Could this be the clip fed Barricade/Stockade we've all been waiting for?
