We've been talking about doing an analysis/comparison for some of the new darts on the market for a little while now. Imagine how surprised we were when one of our readers and local players, Blood Angel beat us to it! Ok, we weren't all THAT surprised, we were kind of dragging our feet on this one. Nerfcast Episode 33: Anatomy Of A Dart

Has it really been two weeks since the last update?! While we try to get some more content for the blog, enjoy the latest episode of Nerfcast. This week we discuss the plethora of new darts hitting the market, from official sources, to cheap knockoffs, and some better made brands. Dart Holes: A Solidworks Simulation

As many of you heard on the latest episode of Nerfcast, we had some really awesome content provided by one of our good friends Mitchel. With more information coming out in regards to the new suction darts it seemed like the perfect time to throw this information out to the community.  Mitchel's studies show the effect of the hole in the side of the dart's head on it's flight path and that it's more than likely not responsible for the instability of the dart. It's really cool to see some hard data and a great read. We're sure we'll see debates about this continue into the future, but this is really an awesome step in more information for the community. Once again, super big shout out to Mitchel!

My Last Dart has the exclusive on the new N-Strike Elite Mega Centurion. Sporting all new darts and internals the box claims distances of "up to 100 feet". This looks like it's going to be the first blaster in the "Mega" line and looks like Nerf's response to the demand for an Elite Longshot.  Check out the original post on My Last Dart for all the juicy exclusive details. Elite Firefly clip, darts, Raven, and Stryfe!?

TaoBao.com has posted up some pictures of new Elite glow-in-the-dark darts. What's more interesting is the back of the packaging, which shows more previews of the elite line. Aside from a repainted Rayven and Firefly Tech Clip, the Stryfe looks to be a completely new blaster, and without any noticeable priming mechanism. Could this be the clip fed Barricade/Stockade we've all been waiting for?
