  2. Excited for the Hammershot as a secondary/ wander round campus type HvZ blaster - I do think it needs a rangetopper - if it is the rumoured Winchester then i'd love to see a clipfed blaster with a few cool accesories - wood effect mags maybe?

  3. The Sledgefire is a novel piece of crap, in my humble opinion. It's clunky, awkward to use, and its limited functionality relegates it as nothing more than a side-arm with no particularly special function. I've heard of rulesets where landing both shots on a Roughcut counts as an instant kill or shield buster, so how does that concept apply to a Sledgefire?

Additionally, the Sledgefire is much too big to be practical as a side-arm. The stock is not detachable and it's difficult to reload the toy after you've consumed the slugs.

I don't understand how having one less shot in a Hammershot is such a big deal. You can potentially fire it one-handed. Way better than a Firestrike or a Triad, and smaller than a fullsized flywheel blaster which requires batteries and rev time.

    1. You have some very valid points. I agree that the Sledgefire doesn't seem like the most practical blaster. However, we do run some games that have a very small enclosure where flags are placed, having something that shoots 3 shots could be kinda cool to assault the base with. Since we don't have shields and we play one hit kills with infinite respawn the only real advantage is the difficulty in dodging three darts. Then again, one shot is all you've got so unless there's only one person guarding that flag... Well, the Hammershot looks like a great sidearm. No disagreement there!
